[’PHP_SELF’] - [’SCRIPT_NAME’] - ['REQUEST_URI']

$_SERVER[’PHP_SELF’], $_SERVER[’SCRIPT_NAME’], and $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] are all very similar... so what exactly is the difference? In this article we expose each to different scenarios and show what they actually return. This will help you better understand the difference between them, so you can determine what will work best for the script you are creating.
